How to Install krb5-kdc software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

krb5-kdc software package provides MIT Kerberos key server (KDC), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install krb5-kdc

krb5-kdc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the krb5-kdc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep krb5-kdc *

You will get with krb5-kdc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
